I just applied at DNDN

I just applied for a part-time medical writer position at Dendreon Corporation in Seattle. Right after I applied I realized that it was DNDN....a volatile stock that has made for some great trades in the past.

Funny how, in the trading world, you often only know companies by their ticker symbols....

Gotta love DNDN ... I banked a nice $3k 120% profit 10 days ago buying it on that huge drop pre-news. Funny thing is my wife applied to work there right before I traded it. Unfortunately she hasn't heard anything so far.

Good luck on getting the position.

It's so true haha...I've been giving stocks personalities, and then mentally connect them to their real life edifices. I guess when you don't discuss stocks with anyone in real life things like this are bound to happen.

Recently I've noticed many of them are subconsciously assigned gender in my head, too. The meaning of this escapes me, but it's soothing to drive by the motherly BAC building in Providence, or buy your office supplies at the adolescent upstart OMX.

DNDN's total alpha male by the way.

Thanks Michael. I have my doubts that I'll get it because they want someone with writing documents for FDA approval process which I don't have, but we'll see.

Haha, Matty...maybe we should give them ethnicities too

A friend of mine in biotech just got a job after 6 months and 16 interviews. Hang in there.
