Last Week In Review, & Watchlist for 6/11/2012

Friday started out as a scratch day.  I sold an overnight long in MNTG at 5.30 from a 5.36 entry; got shook out on the quick morning selloff, only to watch MNTG climb to the 5.50′s.  I made back the small loss with long scalps of NEON and CAMP (6.41 exit on NEON from 6.40 entry, and 6.94 exit on CAMP from 6.80 entry).  Friday turned into a red day, though, when I went long on OCC on the afternoon ABCDE pattern at 4.24, and was going to hold overnight only to see it sell off in the last 10 ...Continue Reading...

Trade Recap for Tues 6/5/12, and Watchlist

Shorted MVIS at 3.31 on the morning green to red move, covering on the wash at 3.03.  Covered a small swing short in the pump & dump AMBT at 7 from a low 8 entry.  Reshorted MVIS at 2.98 on the afternoon fade, and covered 1/3 at 2.83.  Was looking for lower but it didn’t happen and I covered the rest at 2.92.  Finally, took a loss on LQMT on the failed ABCDE pattern, with an entry of 0.347 and exit at 0.33. Wednesday Trade Recap, and Watchlist for 5/31/2012

In my Interactive Brokers account, I closed out GNOM puts at 0.35 from 0.30 entry; could’ve been a bit more patient and had a 0.40 exit, but the puts hardly moved yesterday despite GNOM falling quite a bit so I wasn’t sure I would be able to get out at 0.40.  Also covered a swing short in ABIO at 0.58 from a 0.71 entry.  Shorted ISR at 1.26 on the afternoon fade but then it started surging and I took a loss at 1.33.  However, the surge failed so I reshorted at 1.26 and covered 1/3 at 1.13 and the ...Continue Reading...

Tuesday Trade Recap, and Watchlist for May 30

Closed out an over-the-weekend short on the Superman pump MTG, covering at 4.80 from 5.62 when they announced a stock offering this morning.  Also shorted GNOM on the failed morning red-to-green move in the low 3′s and covering around 2.80, then reshorted in the low 2.70′s and covered in the low 2.60′s on the afternoon fade.
